Jacob Champney MS LCMHC MLADC will be providing drug and alcohol counseling
at the Claremont, Newport, and New London locations on Saturdays. Jacob received his Bachelor of Arts degree from
Saint Anselm College in 2004 and his Master of Science from Southern New
Hampshire University in 2007. Jacob has provided services at an
acute psychiatric unit, a residential rehabilitation facility for people
with substance abuse and co-occuring disorders, and for the last 3 years at
a community mental health center providing therapy for people with
co-occuring mental health and substance abuse issues. Jacob is trained and experienced in
cognitive behavioral approaches, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and
motivational enhancement therapy. Jacob is currently accepting new clients.
